Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais
The new project of the ‘Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais’ had the bold and ambitious program to restructure and build a new extension to the iconic school designed in the 1960s by Michel Ecochard.
The elevations on the main road were carefully designed to serve as the school ‘showcase” with the secondary entrances to the extracurricular activities and the general public without affecting the good
operation of the ‘Lycée’ in addition to the car parking access.
The new constructions take into account the original composition and axis, while clearly defining each school cycle.
The East and West façades are equipped with light sun shield elements made of expanded sheet metal, well-calibrated to provide ventilation and solar protection for the glazed façades.
