Cité Financiere was selected following an international competition.

The project was to transform a mixed-use building housing a commercial floor and 9 residential floors in a high-end business center including a shopping arcade, bank branches, stock exchange, floors offices and several services such as a private club with a panoramic restaurant at the top enjoying a sea view.

Partial demolition of the existing structure was necessary in order to adapt it to the new development concept.
The intervention consisted of optimizing the space to allow certain flexibility for the offices, as well as a remodeling of the central structure to erect two towers of 17 floors creating a landmark making the project identifiable in the middle of the neighborhood’s chaos.

Thus, the building is a linear city recognizable by its towers that frame a public square, marking the urban landscape.
