The military hospital of Ouargla, located in a Saharan region, is conceived to be a sustainable architecture adapted to extreme climatic conditions characterized by hot summer, cool nights and dust storms.
The building, housing various hospital blocks with a capacity of 280 beds, is composed of 4 interconnected blocks.
This allows the separation of the 4 main fluxes: the visitors, the patients, the day-patients, and the medical professionals.
Consequently, this organization ensures tranquility and calm for the different entities.
This composition also enabled the creation of green spaces with palm trees and drought tolerant plants that highlights the architecture and adds a touch of freshness.
